UML concludes PM's India visit fruitful

Coalition leader CPN (UML) has concluded Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal's recent India visit was successful and fruitful.

A standing committee meeting, of the party held at the party headquarters Balkhu, Sunday, concluded the visit was successful and thanked the PM after the latter briefed the achievements of his visit to the committee.

The standing committee also decided to appoint party secretary Bishnu Poudel as the deputy leader of its parliamentary party.

The meeting formed a committee led by vice-chairman Bam Dev Gautam to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Nepal Communist Party.

Likewise, the meeting has formed a task force under the leadership of Keshab Badal to carry out an analysis of the class structure of Nepali society.
